The Superflex Fish Activity System is a comprehensive collection of tools for monitoring the motor behavior of small fish in identical regulated environments. Superflex FMB consists of up to 4 Nodes with each node capable of monitoring up to 12 fish tanks. Superflex also includes a PC running the Superflex monitoring software.

One application is the study of Zebra fish. In general, the Zebra fish is a cost efficient model to study degenerative brain diseases as in Parkinson’s or tumor research. One area that has been overlooked is assessing motor behavior and the Superflex FMB system would be a great complement in the study of neurodegenerative diseases.
